Aged Care
Visiting the Echuca Moama residential aged care facilities fortnightly to continue meeting the needs of the elderly population.
Health Assessments
Appointments with a nurse and doctor to assess your physical, psychological and social function to improve your health.
Indigenous Health
Care to indigenous families across their life, with the required support from nurses to assist with preventative health and the health assessment needs of the community.
Child Health
Routine immunisations and check-ups in line with National Immunisation Schedule.
Skin Checks
Skin checks can be scheduled with your GP in a long appointment. The doctors are able to assist with excisions at the medical centre in dedicated treatment rooms.
Telehealth
Telehealth is available for patients to access specialist care that is not available in rural locations. Please ask reception for more info.
Pathology
Onsite Pathology is at both practice locations.
Mental Health
Referrals to local psychologists, community mental health services, and psychiatry.
After hours access is provided at Echuca Hospital in emergency cases.
Chronic Disease Management
Chronic Condition Management Plans to navigate you through your chronic disease. A review of your care arrangements and management as often as is necessary for you.
Men's Health
A range of men’s health services, including but not limited to reviewing your mental health, cardiovascular risk, cancer screening and reproductive and sexual health.
Workcover
Women's Health
Sexual health and preconception advice, antenatal and postnatal care, family planning (including Mirena and Implanon insertion), pregnancy options and counseling. Some GP’s offer labour and delivery services at the Echuca Regional Hospital.
Urgent Pregnancy Advice
Urgent early pregnancy care for planned or unplanned pregnancies.
Immunisations
Excellent access to public health measures to reduce spread of infectious diseases and assist with a comprehensive range of vaccines including Scheduled Government funded immunisations, childhood immunisations, private vaccines such as Hep A/B, Typhoid, Meningococcal, Whooping Cough, Influenza, Shingles, and Pneumococcal, Q fever and Yellow Fever.
Medicals
Pre-employment, Insurance and Commercial driving medicals. These appointments are not eligible for a Medicare rebate and therefore standard GP consulting fees for these services apply. Fees are dependent on the length and complexity of the paperwork completed.
Procedures
Echuca Moama Family Medical Practice is equipped with two treatment rooms, one in each practice. This enables doctors consulting at either site to perform procedures such as, excisions of skin lesions, Mirena insertion and removal, Implanon insertion and removal, catheter changes and suture removal.
Dressings
Our clinical nurses are able to apply and change dressings for our patients. Dressings are charged at $10.00 per application or change.
HotDoc App
Patients are now able to book and manage appointments with their own General Practitioner on their mobile device via the HotDoc App.
